The Bunkie Police Department took to social media to express its appreciation to Acadian Ambulance Service for their generous donation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the department.

This life-saving equipment will be placed into service to help officers better respond to medical emergencies within the community. AEDs play a critical role during cardiac emergencies, allowing first responders to provide immediate care when every second counts.
BPD is grateful for Acadian Ambulance Service’s continued commitment to public safety and their ongoing partnership with Bunkie PD. Donations such as this directly enhance BPD’s ability to protect and serve the citizens of Bunkie and improve emergency response capabilities throughout the city.
