Avoyelles Parish Litter Abatement program receives $10,000 for litter surveillance cameras

The Avoyelles Parish Litter Abatement program applied for and has been granted $10,000 to purchase litter surveillance cameras in order to catch gross and intentional littering through out Avoyelles Parish. The Program is working in conjunction with the Keep Louisiana Beautiful program to clean Avoyelles Parish up.

Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) is a state program under the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and the Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism that promotes personal, corporate, and community responsibility for a clean and beautiful Louisiana. KLB supports local communities through programs and resources for litter education, prevention, removal, enforcement, beautification, recycling, waste reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
