The Avoyelles Parish School Board has announced its District Students of the Year and expressed its congratulations to the winners.
The 2026 District Student of the Year winners are as follows.
Elementary: M’Skyler Lavalais, Marksville Elementary
Middle: Leyah Williams, Marksville High
High School: Akira Jenkins, Avoyelles High
Each of these outstanding students impressed judges with their academic excellence, leadership, and character.
