Council on Aging convened board meeting, recognizes Peggy Lemoine Bordelon

The Avoyelles Council on Aging convened its Board meeting at the Moreauville Community Center on Thursday, Jan. 22. During the meeting, Peggy Lemoine Bordelon was recognized for her extensive service to the ACOA and the Village of Moreauville.

Mrs. Bordelon was presented with a commemorative plaque in appreciation of her outstanding contributions to the community. The Council took a special moment to express their sincere gratitude for her dedication to the community, which has been distinguished by love, kindness, faith, energy, and perseverance over many decades of service. Mrs. Bordelon was accompanied by her husband, Lionel Bordelon, former Mayor of Moreauville, and her children, Emma Jean Givens and Troy John Bordelon.
