Avoyelles Parish Library has announced a special partnership with LSU’s School of Information Studies (SIS) for a new research project: “Share Your Voice: Healthcare and Technology in Rural Louisiana.”

Individuals 65 or older and part of a rural Louisiana community are the target of this project. Researchers want to hear their thoughts on healthcare and technology and how it can better serve people like in that group.

What’s involved? A relaxed 30–45 minute conversation, either at the Library or virtually via Zoom.

Why it matters: The feedback will help shape future healthcare programs designed specifically for rural communities like Avoyelles Parish

Worried about privacy: 100% confidential. Participants’ identities will never be shared, and participation is completely voluntary
