Volunteers with Move Bunkie Forward and The Rapides Foundation served at Bunkie Magnet High School on July 9, helping prepare the campus for the upcoming school year. They cleaned windows and outdoor ceiling tiles, making a noticeable difference and helping create a welcoming environment for students and staff.

Service isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it’s hot, tiring, and requires rolling up sleeves to do the work that often goes unnoticed. But that’s exactly what leadership looks like—showing up, working hard, and taking pride in serving others, even when hot and tired.

This project is #4 in a series of six projects the organizations are completing together to clean up and prepare schools for the coming school year. So far, the organizations have completed projects at Bunkie Elementary, St. Anthony School, and now Bunkie High. The organizations stated that two more projects are scheduled.
